DeepSeek Harness Plugins · Fun & Dress-up
Plugins that extend DeepSeek Harness (DSH) with vision, workflows, memory, web tools and more.
Fun and dress-up plugins are cosmetic: themes, avatars, sounds, skins for the Harness UI. They should be optional and removable without uninstalling the client you actually depend on. If a theme is welded into a fork of the sidebar, you did not install a costume. You replaced your client. Treat that repository as a client plugin and read it with the client category's suspicion about command execution.
A cosmetic plugin should not need an API key, a routing table, or permission to commit. If it asks for those, close it. The costume is the hook and the permission is the product. When not to install is written for skills, and the same instinct applies: do not hand over a key for a change you can see in a screenshot.
This shelf is allowed to be slight. You do not need an editor's novel to decide on a color. You do need the uninstall command, because a theme that breaks the layout on the next Harness update will be the thing you blame on the model. Remove the theme first when the UI looks wrong. Then look at client plugins.
Stars here measure taste and screenshots. Taste is subjective. The permission list is not. Read the permission list anyway. It is short on an honest card and long on a card that wandered into this category by mistake.
If you are in your first week, skip this shelf. The first-week plan spends its one plugin slot on a problem, not on a skin. The skin will still be here.
If the theme and a client fork shipped as one repository, pin the commit you installed. Updating to latest on a Friday is how a costume change becomes a missing sidebar. Update when you can spare the session, not when a badge says you are behind.
